As our children were growing up, we vacationed as a family in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Our condo complex was called Shipwatch Point.

It was there we made family vacation memories of too much sun – or too little; of board games and card games and endless hours playing in the water; of simple dinners of hotdogs and beans to fancy dinners in restaurants that served seafood and steaks.
